$230k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own shared AI/ML components, frameworks, and pipelines for model training, evaluation, and fine-tuning across product teams.
- Apply ML fundamentals and LLM techniques including prompting, fine-tuning, and RAG to customer problems and evaluate model performance in production.
- Build long-term memory, context-retention, and model and agent evaluation systems at scale.
- Prototype and productionize agent builder frameworks and embedded AI experiences.
- Develop full-stack AI-native applications, including backend services and production LLM integrations.
- Set best practices for ML tooling, developer workflows, application architecture, and software engineering craft.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with AI scientists, product, design, data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams.
- Track emerging GenAI and ML developments and identify opportunities to improve products.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience building production AI/ML systems; prior experience leading an engineering effort is a plus.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, system design, and ML fundamentals, including classification, regression, clustering, and neural networks.
- Proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas/NumPy.
- Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and frameworks such as LangChain.
- Experience building or operating agentic systems, agent frameworks, or long-term memory and context architectures for AI applications.
- Familiarity with offline or online evaluation pipelines for measuring model and agent quality.
- Cloud ML workload experience with AWS, including SageMaker.
- Experience launching AI integrations in production and evaluating their real-world impact.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Java and experience designing scalable services with Kubernetes and relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across global teams.
