Responsibilities
- Write, review, and maintain mission-critical frontend code using React, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Define and implement the technical vision, architecture, and multi-year roadmap for the Availability Planning system.
- Design scalable UI architectures, reusable abstractions, and the integration layer between the frontend and backend.
- Build large-scale features that support restaurant schedules, table layouts, operational setup, and dining Experiences.
- Drive performance, maintainability, quality, and pixel-perfect design implementation across the product.
- Develop sophisticated automated and manual testing strategies using React Testing Library, Jest, and Cypress.
- Lead technical strategy, conduct detailed code reviews, mentor engineers, and elevate team coding standards.
- Drive cross-functional projects from planning through production while communicating technical trade-offs to product and design partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience in collaborative team environments.
- Significant experience building and scaling large-scale frontend applications.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Proven experience with system architecture, generic and reusable code, established codebases, and multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Ability to lead large, cross-functional projects from early planning through production.
- Experience communicating technical trade-offs and collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering partners.
- Experience collaborating with designers using tools such as Figma.
- Strong commitment to automated and manual testing, careful code reviews, and high-quality, pixel-perfect implementations.
- Ability to take ownership of systems and use modern productivity tools while maintaining rigorous standards for code quality and accuracy.
