Base Salary
$141k - $249k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and architecture discussions with researchers and engineers.
- Mentor software engineers through code reviews, technical design reviews, and software development best practices.
- Build and maintain interactive web tools for simulation, custom labeling, data annotation, dataset curation, result comparison, and related workflows.
- Improve the existing suite of services and expand it with new tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and researchers using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of industry experience developing production-quality software.
- Experience with modern web technologies and libraries for responsive web applications, such as TypeScript and React.
- Experience with backend technologies and languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or C++.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and collaborate empathetically with tool users and teammates.
- Preferred experience with containers, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, 3D visualization, WebGL, D3.js, three.js, UX/design, software development tools, machine learning, self-driving, robotics or machine learning research teams, and Agile/Scrum environments.
