Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact initiatives across Decisioning Studio’s self-serve DS Go and managed DS Pro products.
- Build full-stack experiences from dashboard UI through data models, APIs, background jobs, and services connecting Braze to ML pipelines.
- Lead web application architecture efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML Engineering to translate the AI product roadmap into reliable software.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through technical insights and user-experience innovation.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical growth, and foster a high-performance culture of quality.
- Support teams implementing Braze’s AI solutions to facilitate customer success and collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong record of delivering impact.
- Ability to work across the full stack and own product surfaces end to end.
- Strong frontend development skills with TypeScript and React; Vue experience is a plus.
- Strong background designing and maintaining scalable web application architectures.
- Experience using AI coding agents, building reusable skills and automation, and delivering high throughput without sacrificing quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly through design documents, technical proposals, and cross-functional discussions.
- User-centric approach and commitment to polished, intuitive experiences and maintainable code.
- Experience navigating large codebases, driving consensus on technical decisions, and mentoring engineers.
- Strongly preferred: experience developing user experiences for machine-learning and data-intensive applications.
- Strongly preferred: experience building product surfaces on LLMs and agentic systems, including embeddings, agent orchestration, and evaluation.
- Strongly preferred: experience with Python and/or Ruby on Rails.

- Canadian base pay is listed at CA$184,000–CA$314,000 per year; compensation may also include equity, but performance-based OTE is excluded from the base salary range.
