Responsibilities
- Develop real-time software for Qualcomm AI DSPs supporting generative AI models on Snapdragon platforms.
- Implement core Qualcomm AI Stack runtime components for inference on low-power, resource-constrained AI systems.
- Validate, analyze, and optimize software performance and accuracy for machine learning use cases.
- Debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global AI teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Participate in software design and code reviews and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an advanced degree with the corresponding experience listed in the posting.
- At least 3 years of general software development experience or 2 years of related AI DSP experience; the broader qualification section lists 4 years with a bachelor's degree, 3 years with a master's degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in C/C++ software development and experience working in a Linux environment.
- Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, software design, debugging, and testing.
- Preferred experience includes at least 2 years building embedded software applications.
- Familiarity with generative AI architectures such as LLMs and hardware-accelerated inference on mobile, laptop, and AR/VR/XR edge devices.
- Experience with Linux, Android, or Windows platforms and git-based source control is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple interests in a globally diverse team.
