Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle ECE real-time rating and charging and OCOMC offline charging mediation.
- Configure, optimize, monitor, and maintain charging systems processing high-volume usage events.
- Support Diameter network integration, ECE customization, charging and billing integration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and platform evolution.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, workshops, and hands-on sessions for billing staff.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to improve billing workflows and troubleshoot rated events, mediation records, and invoices.
- Improve monitoring tools and methodology and recommend reporting and secure read-only data access improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven expertise with Oracle ECE and OCOMC.
- Strong knowledge of real-time rating, charging, mediation flows, and the Diameter protocol.
- Experience with SQL and database query optimization for large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to train and mentor non-technical staff.
- Understanding of telecom and subscription-based billing models.
- Prior experience leading billing teams or training programs is preferred.
- Experience with high-volume event processing in telecom or digital services is preferred.
- Knowledge of integrating and developing monitoring tools using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is required.
