Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, reusable, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and event-driven architecture to payment-network solutions.
- Develop in cloud-based CI/CD environments and select appropriate persistence mechanisms for business needs.
- Implement coding best practices and program code-quality gates.
- Conduct proofs of concept based on business needs.
- Coordinate with Mastercard groups to support project success.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment.
- Provide technical mentoring and training to junior developers.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Strong object-oriented design and programming skills.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with product development and online or real-time systems.
- Experience with CI and CD.
- Cloud-based development experience is desirable.
- Event-driven architecture experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, learning, and technical mentoring skills.
