Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical resource and subject matter expert for Siemens Teamcenter development, configuration, customization, integration, and administration.
- Design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter customizations, workflows, business objects, forms, reports, access controls, preferences, and data models.
- Develop and support integrations between Teamcenter, CAD systems, and other enterprise systems.
- Configure and customize BMIDE and Active Workspace, including XRTs, commands, panels, and widgets.
- Develop server-side solutions using ITK, SOA services, REST services, web services, and Teamcenter APIs.
- Support data migration, bulk data loads, data quality initiatives, system upgrades, patching, and platform modernization.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support production problems.
- Gather requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, configuration documents, and deployment procedures.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, source control management, and continuous improvement initiatives across PLM applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
- Proficiency with Siemens Teamcenter configuration, customization, and administration, including BMIDE and Active Workspace.
- Advanced experience with ITK server-side development and Teamcenter server-side extensions such as handlers, property methods, and business rules.
- Experience developing and consuming Teamcenter SOA services, REST APIs, and web services.
- Strong experience with Teamcenter workflows, handlers, business rules, access controls, preferences, and administration.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle Database.
- Hands-on experience with Java, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, web services, and Git or another version control system.
- Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, Active Workspace declarative development, and Teamcenter Gateway for Enterprise Applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Product Structure, Change Management, Classification, BOM Management, manufacturing, engineering change management, and product development processes is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and English language skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices is preferred.
