Responsibilities
- Analyze epics and user stories to understand functional software requirements.
- Design and develop automated test scenarios for complex web and mobile applications across browsers and operating systems.
- Create and execute automated tests for Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Develop test scripts using TypeScript, Playwright, Appium, and Karate for user interfaces and APIs.
- Perform REST API testing and work with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
- Use Jira Xray, Gherkin, and Cucumber to define and manage test cases.
- Use GitLab CI/CD to orchestrate automated tests.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify relevant test cases and support source-code collaboration through Git.
Requirements
- More than 7 years of experience in mobile QA test automation covering front end and back end.
- Bac+5 engineering-school or university degree specializing in computer science, or equivalent significant experience.
- Strong experience designing and executing automated tests with Playwright and Appium.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with automated testing frameworks including Karate and Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Jira Xray, Gherkin, GitLab CI/CD, and Git.
- Experience with REST API testing and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, particularly ISTQB.
- Retail or mass-distribution industry experience is an advantage.
