Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting the organization’s AI capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Translate high-level stakeholder and mission goals into engineering outcomes and platform solutions.
- Define structured solutions for ambiguous problem spaces that engineering teams can execute.
- Mentor engineers and develop engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance.
- Establish and enforce infrastructure and data security practices, including certificate and identity management.
- Support cloud-native architecture and maintain production software and infrastructure.
- Balance hands-on engineering with leadership, stakeholder management, and coordination responsibilities.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or an additional four years of experience in place of the degree.
- At least 12 years of software development experience.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, Terraform, IAM, and Route 53.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm or Kustomize.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience with Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience with observability tools such as the Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Experience with certificate management, cloud-native security practices, cloud-native architecture, and production software and infrastructure.
- Strong ability to translate high-level goals into engineering outcomes, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
