Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using VM, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Automate build, packaging, deployment, release, and operational processes.
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable software releases.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management, compliance controls, and security automation.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and reliability with observability tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging DevOps technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building and supporting enterprise CI/CD ecosystems and working in globally distributed organizations.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure; AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform experience is preferred.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes security, and cluster administration.
- Proficiency or experience with Python, PowerShell, and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation and secrets management using Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience supporting C/C++ build environments, Makefiles, build systems, and software packaging.
- Preferred experience leading cloud migration or modernization initiatives and exposure to Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms.
- Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, independent execution, and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.
