Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, prioritize the opportunity pipeline, and define measurable success criteria with business and Digital Transformation stakeholders.
- Lead solution design, evaluate technology options, and provide recommendations based on business value, cost, risk, strategic alignment, and supportability.
- Provide architectural oversight for the build, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Copilot Studio solutions.
- Produce and assure solution documentation, conduct technical reviews, and guide developers in following approved architecture and standards.
- Coordinate Architecture Review Board, Secure by Design, Data Protection Impact Assessment, and AI Governance Board submissions and actions.
- Define and evolve Power Platform and Copilot Studio governance, architecture principles, reference architectures, reusable patterns, development standards, and quality controls.
- Oversee platform controls for environments, security, access, data loss prevention, connectors, application lifecycle management, deployment, monitoring, capacity, and solution lifecycle management.
- Enable citizen developers through guidance, training, reusable resources, community support, and appropriate governance.
- Identify and manage architectural, security, operational, delivery, privacy, and compliance risks.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, incident escalation support, and cross-team collaboration across Digital Delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading delivery of low-code solutions on the Microsoft platform, ideally as a Solution Architect.
- Expert knowledge of at least one core Power Platform technology and strong working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Experience with structured systems development lifecycles, including Secure by Design, Architecture Review Boards, and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Understanding of security, privacy, platform governance, data governance, and responsible AI for low-code solutions in a regulated financial-services or equivalent environment.
- Experience enabling citizen developers through governance and community support.
- Ability to design and operate Power Platform application lifecycle management, deployment, and governance practices.
- Experience building solutions with Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, AI Builder, or agentic AI capabilities is preferred.
- Experience providing first-, second-, and third-line support across multiple business areas is preferred.
- Expertise configuring and using Jira and Confluence for high-performing agile teams is preferred.
- Experience defining measurable outcomes, assessing return on investment, and using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development capabilities is preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
- Relevant Microsoft Power Platform, Agent, or AI certifications are desirable.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, prioritization, interpersonal, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
