Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, scalable backend services for the data platform.
Contribute to architectural decisions involving DDD, clean or hexagonal architecture, and event-driven systems.
Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality and reliability through automated testing, CI/CD, and peer reviews.
Understand and contribute to infrastructure, containerized environments, and observability practices.
Work across frontend and backend development and mentor colleagues in a collaborative team environment.

Strong experience in backend development using TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Scala ZIO, Python, or a similar language.
Good understanding of software architecture principles, including DDD and clean or hexagonal architecture.
Experience with event-driven systems and high-volume data environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerized stacks, and observability tools.
Experience with multiple programming languages and both frontend and backend development.
Clear and effective communication, collaboration, mentoring ability, curiosity, adaptability, and a growth-oriented attitude.
