Base Salary
$99k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, and executive discussions.
- Analyze customer business and technology objectives and conduct full technical discovery.
- Design, architect, and propose complex custom solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, proof-of-concept engagements, and solution demonstrations.
- Advise customers, sales, and customer success teams on solution fit, features, availability, and implementation considerations.
- Contribute to technical sales strategy and support local sales teams in pursuing key business opportunities.
- Act as a customer advocate and communicate customer pain points and feedback to product management, sales, customer success, and engineering leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address data lifecycle needs and establish customer trust and credibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent private-sector or military work experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in technology-focused pre-sales, engineering, consulting, or a similar background.
- Technical pre-sales or consulting experience and knowledge of enterprise architecture and design.
- Knowledge of one or more technology areas including global network infrastructure, edge cloud capabilities, connected security, and communication and collaboration services.
- Ability to lead technical workshops, RFP discussions, and final solution discussions with mid-level IT stakeholders.
- Ability to lead complex deal discussions with sales, customer success, product, and engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving, creative solution development, presentation, listening, reasoning, objection-handling, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects and tight deadlines, and communicate technical information effectively.
- Preferred qualifications include industry certifications in specialized technologies, solution consulting experience, ITIL knowledge, and basic understanding of cloud and architecture design, Network Functions Virtualization, and security solutions.

- The position has location-based base salary ranges from $99,225 to $145,530 depending on state.
