Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for new-to-cloud UK public sector customers and guide them from their first workload to production.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and recommend AWS-based solutions for customer pain points.
- Design and present cloud architectures aligned with customer outcomes and public sector requirements in the UK and Germany.
- Build proof-of-concept demonstrations, lead workshops, and create technical content in English and German.
- Develop migration roadmaps and contribute technical differentiators to RFI and RFP responses.
- Partner with Account Executives on territory planning, account prioritization, customer engagement, and technical win plans.
- Create repeatable plays and enablement assets for cost optimization, compliance, and legacy migration.
- Navigate German procurement and compliance requirements alongside UK public sector frameworks.
- Coordinate with AWS service teams, partner systems integrators, and security specialists to assemble customer solutions.
- Contribute mentorship, knowledge sharing, operational best practices, and data-driven pipeline assessments to the Greenfield Solutions Architect organization.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 2 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience working with public sector organizations such as government, education, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations is preferred.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective is preferred.
- Understanding of UK public sector procurement and compliance frameworks, such as G-Cloud and Cyber Essentials, is preferred.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools including CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK is preferred.
- Fluency in English and German is expected for customer-facing technical engagement.
