Responsibilities
- Serve as the MEGA domain expert for high-value client accounts.
- Provide thought leadership and market insights to clients.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to support customer needs.
- Handle non-standard solutions and escalations after triage.
- Develop custom solutions to support MEGA customers.
- Advise Sales and Solutions teams on Fastly solutions.
- Deliver consulting to various internal teams for client-facing projects.
- Perform technical research on new technologies for customer use.
- Assist in building internal tools for MEGA customer support.
- Engage with customers to understand their media needs.
Requirements
- 7+ years in streaming video and content delivery networks.
- Strong professional network within top MEGA companies.
- Experience in Sales and/or strategic business development.
- Strong technical background with a customer focus.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for translating complex solutions.
- Expertise in Fastly's platform and ability to build solutions quickly.
- Experience as a hands-on engineer or engineer leader.
- Ability to work with HTTP request/response protocols.
- Understanding of cloud technologies from IaaS and PaaS providers.
- Hands-on experience in VCL and programming languages like Rust, Golang, or Javascript.
