Responsibilities
- Integrate new bank APIs and normalize data into the internal system schema
- Develop bespoke integration approaches for banking partners
- Improve system boundaries, responsibilities, stability, scale, efficiency, and observability
- Maintain and strengthen integrations supporting live payment flows and reconciliation operations
- Develop and support Ripple’s internal trading system, Prisma
- Prototype and implement solutions for complex software problems in production cloud deployments
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and best practices
Requirements
- Experience building highly scalable and performant enterprise software
- Working knowledge of Java and its ecosystem, including threading and concurrency
- Knowledge of or strong interest in Java, event-driven architectures such as AMQP, gRPC, and service meshes
- Interest in fintech, markets, and trading
- Strong project completion, stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills
