Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate automotive software projects from concept through production, validation, SOP, and maintenance.
- Serve as the chief technical counterpart and primary technical contact for OEM engineering leadership on ADAS programs.
- Lead technical workstreams for RFIs, RFQs, advanced customer engagements, design reviews, workshops, debugging, and integration activities.
- Define technical solution proposals involving Qualcomm SoCs, BSP, platform software, and reference platforms.
- Coordinate Qualcomm hardware, software, systems, safety, security, tools, and test teams to meet customer milestones.
- Drive resolution and escalation of critical technical issues, risks, delivery concerns, and customer expectations.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal roadmap, product, engineering, program management, sales, and leadership forums.
- Provide technical thought leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams operating without direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 8+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 7+ years; or a PhD plus 6+ years.
- At least 4 years of work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Extensive software engineering experience including project management and leadership responsibilities.
- Strong automotive systems engineering background involving compute platforms, embedded software stacks, and ADAS, parking, and driver-monitoring software.
- Understanding of automotive safety, quality, and cybersecurity frameworks and their effect on architecture and execution.
- Experience as a customer-facing technical leader such as a chief engineer, system architect, technical program lead, or equivalent.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority in a complex matrix organization.
- Strong structured problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer and Qualcomm sites as needed.
