Responsibilities
- Design and build the internal developer platform from scratch.
- Create tooling and abstractions to simplify engineering processes.
- Define service architecture, deployment patterns, and environment strategy.
- Build fast, reliable CI/CD systems that operate seamlessly.
- Own observability across the system, including logs, metrics, and tracing.
- Drive infrastructure as code practices throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to influence system design.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale.
- Strong background in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
- Experience with containers and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong opinions on effective developer platform design.
- Ability to transform ambiguous problems into structured systems.
