Base Salary
$160k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the internal developer platform from scratch.
- Create tooling and abstractions that reduce complexity for engineers.
- Define service architecture, deployment patterns, and environment strategy.
- Build fast, reliable CI/CD systems.
- Own logs, metrics, and tracing across the system.
- Drive infrastructure as code across the company’s systems.
- Partner with backend engineers to shape how systems are built.
- Define how services are deployed, discovered, connected, and scaled.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale.
- Strong background in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and GCP, containers, and distributed systems.
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong opinions on how developer platforms should work and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clean systems.
- Bonus: experience building internal developer platforms, Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems, data platforms or graph-based systems, or early-stage 0-to-1 environments.
