Base Salary
$47 - $75/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and deploy frontend and backend features for an internal AI-powered platform.
- Develop Python backend and React/TypeScript frontend code, integrations with cloud services, AI APIs, and internal data sources.
- Integrate generative AI, LLM, agentic, and tool-calling capabilities to support information retrieval, question answering, and workflow automation.
- Partner with business teams to translate workflows and feedback into software features.
- Implement OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication, access control, data governance, and secure coding practices.
- Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, testing, documentation, and architectural discussions.
- Use CI/CD, observability, and monitoring tools to build, deploy, and diagnose production features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of professional experience and 1–2 years of hands-on Python experience, including professional or project-based work.
- Experience shipping or contributing to React and TypeScript UI features in a real or production-like environment.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP accepted.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Experience using LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI in a professional, personal, or academic project.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication flows and awareness of secure coding and data privacy principles.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, own features end-to-end, iterate amid ambiguity, and value testing, code quality, and documentation.
- Relevant coursework or self-study in web development, cloud computing, databases, software engineering, or AI/ML is relevant.
