Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs using C# for financial products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and integrate financial systems and third-party services.
- Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security.
- Write maintainable code and participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment activities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in program planning, stand-ups, sprint planning, and other team planning activities.
- Support change management, release rollout planning, and post-implementation support in Asia.
- Work with global stakeholders and team members in Singapore and Switzerland while meeting applicable risk-management and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience focused on C# backend development.
- Profound hands-on C# programming skills.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB and MS SQL.
- Good knowledge of RabbitMQ, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Strong code review skills and a demonstrated focus on code quality.
- Financial-industry experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and in a global team, take ownership, troubleshoot problems, communicate with stakeholders, and work under pressure in an agile environment.
