Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for automotive applications using embedded systems and RTOS.
  • Implement automotive communication protocols and integrate software modules with microcontroller architectures.
  • Integrate embedded software development into automotive product development processes using AUTOSAR and ASPICE.
  • Define requirements and software architectures with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead testing and debugging of embedded software components using Vector CANalyzer and CANoe.
  • Manage embedded software requirements and traceability using DOORS.
  • Create software design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
  • Use Git, JIRA, and Gerrit for version control, repository management, and collaboration.
  • Conduct code reviews, static analysis, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive development processes, functional safety, and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

  • B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech. in any specialization.
  • 8–15 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in C and experience with embedded or AUTOSAR software development.
  • Experience with S32, Aurix, or Renesas microcontrollers.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and clarify customer AUTOSAR requirements.
  • Deep expertise in more than two AUTOSAR BSW or MCAL modules, such as communication, memory, diagnostics, cybersecurity, operating system, watchdog, or MCAL modules.
  • Experience with CDD, RTE, Vector or Mentor AUTOSAR tools, and AUTOSAR multicore architecture.
  • Understanding of 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers and experience with at least one Renesas RH, TRICOR, or PowerPC architecture.
  • Expertise with CANalyzer, debuggers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with ASPICE, Agile methodologies, functional safety, and cybersecurity.
