Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend layers.
- Deliver high-quality solutions using Java, Angular, microservices, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client and project requirements.
- Work in a hybrid model requiring one or two days per week at a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo - Morumbi.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE development.
- Proficiency with Angular.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database and relational databases including SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JMS or Kafka messaging technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to generative AI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience in financial services, trading, or wealth management environments is advantageous.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and knowledge of DevOps tools and practices are advantageous.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
