Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable SaaS applications, platforms, and distributed systems.
- Build distributed backend systems, APIs, and event-driven services for the OpsRamp platform.
- Prepare design specifications and participate in design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with customer support teams on customer escalations.
- Work with product management, QA, and remote teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Apply cloud-native architecture practices for high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.
- Contribute to the development of Trino connectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 9–12 years of experience designing, implementing, and deploying highly scalable SaaS applications, platforms, and distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, multithreading, data structures, distributed systems, Spring, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
- Working knowledge of Kafka or similar message-bus architectures and experience designing and building APIs.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and MySQL.
- Knowledge of CoreOS, Kubernetes, and Docker containers.
- Strong data-structure and algorithm skills for distributed backend systems.
- Understanding of ITOM markets, infrastructure automation, continuous integration and deployment, security, networking, and cloud-native models is preferred.
- Deep expertise in AI-first SDLC methodologies and the ability to implement AI-driven solutions is required.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
