Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute software quality assurance strategies for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
- Ensure functionality through end-to-end testing workflows.
- Validate API endpoints using Postman and RestAssured.
- Conduct performance benchmarking and load testing with JMeter and k6.
- Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks for Android apps.
- Execute regression testing across various mobile devices and OS versions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to align QA activities with product goals.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
- Review product requirements and provide feedback.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues.
- Create test data and validate backend data integrity using SQL.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide QA sign-off.
- Develop internal documentation and QA best practices.
- Train and mentor junior QA engineers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Two years of experience in a related role.
- Experience writing automated test scripts for React and Node.js applications.
- Automated testing experience for Android and iOS applications using Appium.
- Proficiency in validating RESTful API functionality using Postman.
- Experience with performance and load testing using JMeter and k6.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Experience creating test strategies and conducting exploratory testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend testing.
