Base Salary
$216k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement identity infrastructure for secure authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.
- Manage SSO, MFA, and federated identity solutions using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Manage ReBAC, ABAC, and RBAC authorization mechanisms.
- Partner with auditors and security teams to enforce identity governance, compliance, and organizational security policies.
- Present technical information and provide guidance on identity management and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of full-time engineering experience after graduation, specializing in infrastructure and identity systems.
- Experience with IAM controls, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi, and microservice deployment practices.
- Hands-on experience with OpenFGA, Authzed, Cedar, Topaz, or similar authorization frameworks at scale.
- Strong understanding of Zanzibar-based ReBAC models, relationship tuples, and access-control evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT authentication standards.
- Extensive software development experience and a deep understanding of distributed systems and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Demonstrated independent ownership of successful engineering projects.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience securing API access and implementing application-level access controls.
- Preferred multi-cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other platforms.
- Preferred proficiency integrating IAM solutions with applications built using Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
