Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAS Platform products and SAS 9 platform-based solutions.
- Design and implement scalable, performant, usable configuration and download tools.
- Build web applications for designing streaming data orchestration flows for SAS ARD solutions.
- Contribute to designs for new tools, systems, frameworks, and product features.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and provide product support.
- Perform unit, regression, and integration testing and document product features.
- Mentor associate developers and collaborate on technical choices.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria and review business and solution requirements and design documents.
- Follow applicable security policies and processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills with Core Java, AWT, and Swing.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, XML, JSON, and REST.
- Experience with software development processes, quality standards, unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Working knowledge of Git and Gerrit.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience developing multi-tier full-stack web applications and thick-client applications is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of web application servers or HTML frontend development, with familiarity with Bootstrap, CSS, and React, is advantageous.
- Ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems and troubleshoot software issues.
