Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python.
- Execute software solution design, development, debugging, and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain application algorithms.
- Contribute to application architecture and design artifacts while meeting software design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java or Python.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security, and related software development practices.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
