Responsibilities
- Support the Platform Engineering team in advancing and improving Veryable’s software platform.
- Develop backend web applications using current technologies and frameworks.
- Help evolve data infrastructure and data warehouse architecture for customers and internal data consumers.
- Solve real-world technical problems for manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and industrial business environments.
- Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure scaling, DevOps, DevSecOps, and developer experience practices.
Requirements
- Be recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking Computer Science, Engineering, or related program with one quarter or semester remaining.
- Have knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Understand RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency with backend frameworks such as Spring, Django, or Express.js.
- Be detail-oriented, eager to learn, self-directed, and able to break down complex problems and develop solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or CircleCI.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, ETL, and data warehousing.
