Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop and implement account strategies for Lakebase adoption and growth.
- Build technical credibility with stakeholders as a trusted advisor and product champion.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and technical collateral.
- Enable clients at scale by increasing technical knowledge and thought leadership.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic product roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Proven experience designing and delivering client-facing solutions and influencing OLTP product roadmaps.
- Experience integrating transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration experience with disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and system migrations.
- Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives and coordinating cross-functional GTM and R&D efforts.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
