Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of scalable, high-performance software systems and applications in Azure.
- Integrate GPT-based AI models into business applications and advocate for AI-driven engineering productivity tools.
- Guide development teams through technical challenges, contribute code to complex features, and optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Mentor engineers on architecture, technical decision-making, code quality, debugging, and scalability while supporting career development with the Engineering Manager.
- Lead design reviews, code inspections, architecture reviews, and adoption of engineering standards and reusable components.
- Promote automated testing, CI/CD, code quality checks, and deployment efficiency through Azure DevOps pipelines and related tools.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, business analysts, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and customer needs.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of related software development experience; experience may be gained concurrently.
- Experience designing and developing multi-tier web applications with ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and REST/Web API interfaces.
- Experience architecting databases and data solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, SSIS, and ETL technologies.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Angular, AngularJS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, and Agile/Scrum development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Octopus Deploy.
- Experience migrating ASP.NET MVC applications to ASP.NET Core using C#/.NET.
- Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and inter-service communication.
- Experience with xUnit, NUnit, Moq, NSubstitute, and SonarQube for testing and code analysis.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, WCF, SignalR, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Swagger/OpenAPI, GraphQL, Neo4j, and Cypher.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi CLI and TypeScript to provision and manage Azure resources.
