Base Salary

$154k - $191k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own platform design, cloud services uptime, and on-call practices for worldwide real-time services.
  • Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
  • Implement observability, alerting, incident response, and postmortems.
  • Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cost/performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and autonomy teams to support live drone data streaming and customer workflows.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience operating production systems and building infrastructure.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write production-quality code in Python, Node, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and modern cloud patterns.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes.
  • Experience with AWS networking, IAM, core services, and production operations.
  • Preferred experience supporting critical real-time edge devices such as drones, robotics systems, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Preferred familiarity with containers, service orchestration, real-time or streaming systems, low-latency distributed services, and security practices such as secrets management, encryption, and least privilege.
