Base Salary
$154k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own platform design, cloud services uptime, and on-call practices for worldwide real-time services.
- Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
- Implement observability, alerting, incident response, and postmortems.
- Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cost/performance optimization.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and autonomy teams to support live drone data streaming and customer workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience operating production systems and building infrastructure.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write production-quality code in Python, Node, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and modern cloud patterns.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes.
- Experience with AWS networking, IAM, core services, and production operations.
- Preferred experience supporting critical real-time edge devices such as drones, robotics systems, or autonomous vehicles.
- Preferred familiarity with containers, service orchestration, real-time or streaming systems, low-latency distributed services, and security practices such as secrets management, encryption, and least privilege.
