Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Software Requirement Specifications and comprehensive software quality documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Assess software designs and review test and performance data for compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve software quality deficiencies.
  • Guide validation of usability, reliability, performance, localizability, safety, privacy, and cost design inputs.
  • Oversee software quality plans and risk management activities across the software lifecycle.
  • Use post-market analytics and statistics to monitor field performance and initiate corrective or field actions when required.
  • Develop and support Software Quality Plans covering design through post-market activities.
  • Apply global regulations, requirements, and standards to software quality and design processes.
  • Provide guidance on schedules, technical problems, quality engineering practices, regulatory compliance, and QMS processes.
  • Report software quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or equivalent vocational education.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.
  • Preferred ISTQB certification.
  • Preferred skills include design quality management, data analysis and interpretation, Design for Quality, root cause analysis, CAPA methodologies, regulatory requirements, privacy/safety/security risk assessment, technical documentation, continuous improvement, software development lifecycle, product quality and reliability, defect management, design verification and validation planning, and product test design.
