Responsibilities

  • Automate operational processes, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Develop internal scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and related technologies.
  • Provision and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Implement auto-scaling, self-healing, high availability, and resilience strategies.
  • Monitor systems through metrics, logs, and traces, and define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
  • Perform capacity planning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Respond to critical production incidents and conduct root-cause analyses.
  • Build monitoring tools, alerting systems, and operational dashboards to improve end-to-end visibility.
  • Collaborate with development teams on platform engineering, application resilience, deployment improvements, DevOps, and SRE practices.
  • Support disaster recovery, load and stress testing, chaos engineering, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Define operational standards and document processes and architectures while applying security and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Practical experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python or Bash, Linux/Unix, monitoring and observability, and incident management.
  • Experience with large-scale environments, consulting, chaos engineering, highly distributed architectures, or financial and other critical environments is a plus.
  • Strong observability background and advanced Kafka knowledge are considered differentiators.
