Responsibilities
- Define software architecture, technical strategy, and multi-release roadmaps for Network Management System solutions.
- Translate product and operational needs into designs, implementation plans, and scalable software solutions.
- Design and evolve service-provider network observability and management workflows.
- Improve scalability and performance through concurrency, query optimization, batching, streaming, and memory and network efficiency.
- Strengthen security, privacy, resilience, code quality, testing, quality metrics, and release practices.
- Lead initiatives from architecture through production, coordinate across teams, conduct technical reviews, and mentor developers.
- Advance AI-assisted engineering practices, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 6 years, or PhD plus 3 years.
- Experience designing and developing Network Management Systems or telecom network-management applications.
- Strong hands-on experience writing concurrent Python code for complex applications.
- Technical leadership experience covering architecture through production, planning, cross-team coordination, technical reviews, and mentoring.
- Strong full-stack and distributed-systems expertise with application-scalability depth.
- Experience with service-provider networking technologies such as IP, MPLS, SR-TE, SRv6, IS-IS, BGP, Ethernet services, or optical transport.
- Experience with databases, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
