Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts.
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, volume, and scalability testing.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Debug issues across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
- Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Strong understanding of performance testing and performance engineering concepts.
- Expertise in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and root-cause analysis.
- Strong debugging skills across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Experience with monitoring/APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Good understanding of web/API performance testing, including REST and SOAP.
- Knowledge of SQL, Linux, and log analysis.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- BE or BTech educational background.
