Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement enterprise and software architecture patterns across .NET services, including distributed systems and messaging patterns.
- Write production code, conduct architecture-focused code reviews, pair with developers, and prototype technical approaches.
- Support integration, modernization, and other focused engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
- When assigned to AI initiatives, design LLM integration patterns, prompts, context management, retrieval-augmented approaches, and evaluation workflows.
- Help teams evaluate document chunking and embedding strategies for customer use cases.
- Document implementation patterns, contribute to architecture decision records, and explain architectural standards to developers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of progressive software engineering experience with technical leadership or senior developer experience.
- At least 3 years of making technical and architectural decisions for a team.
- Deep hands-on expertise in .NET/C# and React, with the ability to architect across the full stack.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging frameworks, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, microservices, API design, and event-driven patterns.
- Working familiarity with Python and the ability to work across teams and varying codebases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Snowflake, dbt, LLMs, prompt engineering, Langfuse or comparable tooling, RAG, vector databases, agentic workflows, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, database design, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, multi-tenant SaaS, and B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
