Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain software solutions for platform applications.
- Write secure, high-quality code and address code quality issues using modern programming languages.
- Identify problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to restore platform stability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and resiliency.
- Automate software development lifecycle activities to reduce manual effort.
- Ensure compliance with security, internal control, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Java/Spring Boot, or another modern programming language.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of software applications, technical processes, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security, and software delivery practices.
- Knowledge of industry technology trends and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with observability tools such as Splunk or Grafana, data streaming frameworks, AWS services, and Kubernetes.
