Base Salary
$160k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build AWS and Azure cloud networks across multiple classification levels.
- Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure spanning various platforms and program requirements.
- Collaborate with security engineers to ensure compliance with program security standards.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and tooling for critical U.S. Government programs.
- Design cloud network architectures including VPCs, VNets, and boundary protection controls.
- Implement identity and access management frameworks across cloud environments.
- Support cloud Provisional Authorization processes for classified environments.
- Document cloud architectures and security controls for Authorization to Operate.
- Remediate findings from vulnerability scans to maintain ATO posture.
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and other applicable frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure.
- Active Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain TS/SCI.
- DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification required.
- Proven experience designing cloud infrastructure at IL-4, IL-5, and IL-6+ levels.
- Deep expertise in architecting AWS and Azure networks.
- Experience managing multi-cloud environments across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security controls and shared responsibility models.
- Experience supporting RMF processes and compliance with NIST 800-53.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements.
- Strong documentation skills for compliance artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
