Responsibilities
- Design high-performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape.
- Contribute to the concept, design, and implementation of modern solutions using Spring Boot or Vert.X.
- Contribute to the new technology stack and maintain the existing legacy system.
- Accompany software projects from draft through production operation.
- Document software architectures and transfer technical knowledge.
- Coach and develop more junior team members.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
Requirements
- A university Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience in software development.
- Experience in a sportsbook environment.
- Strong development skills with Java, Spring Boot, Vert.X, or .NET.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure in a cloud-first environment.
- Strong database knowledge and SQL skills.
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications, including Kubernetes or Docker.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Good English-language skills.
