Base Salary
$466k - $750k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate high-impact machine learning models.
- Partner with researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to identify valuable machine learning applications and translate business goals into data-driven solutions.
- Develop scalable, production-ready ML solutions from initial concept through deployment in Netflix’s large-scale, real-time systems.
- Run offline experiments and build online A/B tests for production systems.
- Contribute to infrastructure for developing and deploying ML models.
- Apply best practices for availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of full-time engineering experience.
- Strong software design and development skills with Scala, Java, and Python.
- Broad understanding of core machine learning concepts and their application in large-scale, real-world ML systems.
- Familiarity with end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including training and production deployment, and challenges such as explainability.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, and self-motivation.

- Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with a stated salary range of $466,000.00-$750,000.00.
