C++ Developer
Schneider ElectricResponsibilities
- Develop backend and server-side components in C++ for physical access control and video management systems.
- Design modular, testable, maintainable, and high-performance software using object-oriented design and architectural patterns.
- Debug, profile, and optimize application performance.
- Apply testing, continuous integration and delivery, and agile development practices.
- Contribute to the EcoStruxure Foresight platform and Schneider Electric’s secure infrastructure initiative.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in C++ development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and analysis, algorithms, and time complexity.
- Experience writing modular, testable, and maintainable code and working with design and architectural patterns.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Test Driven Development, CI/CD, and agile practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Desirable qualifications include Linux and operating systems, SQL and database systems, access control hardware or video management systems, WebRTC or RTSP video streaming, TCP/IP networking, open-source technologies, cybersecurity principles, Docker, and Kubernetes.
