Base Salary
$60k - $75k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automation scripts for cloud, network, and security operations.
- Use AI coding assistants to prototype, build, test, and debug solutions.
- Support infrastructure-as-code across cloud and on-premises systems.
- Convert repetitive manual tasks into repeatable automated workflows.
- Build and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and utilities.
- Assist with cloud provisioning, firewall and DNS configuration, and vulnerability management under senior guidance.
- Document solutions for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, and/or 1–2 years of experience in IT, software, cloud, or security.
- Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT to write and troubleshoot code.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, networking, or security concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-managed and self-driven work style.
- Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, and Git is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or a comparable cloud or security certification is preferred, or may be completed within the first year of employment.
