Responsibilities
- Own business-critical systems for low latency responses to fleet signals.
- Develop Mapping Change Detection using machine learning and data analysis.
- Build robust backend infrastructure that scales with Waymo’s growth.
- Contribute to infrastructure development, tooling improvements, and algorithm advancements.
Requirements
- Experience as a backend engineer with server-side infrastructure and data processing skills.
- Solid coding skills, preferably in C++.
- Minimum of 4 years of total experience in relevant fields.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Proven track record of applying a broad range of skills to solve business problems.
