Principal Software Engineer (Agentic Integration)

Responsibilities
- Own the solution architecture for the integrations team, designing agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration.
- Identify and prototype new opportunities to integrate Black Duck's capabilities into developer workflows.
- Design and implement agentic workflows and integrations for Black Duck's AppSec products.
- Lead the technical development of the Black Duck MCP Gateway, expanding its capabilities.
- Contribute to existing agentic features, improving remediation guidance for developers.
- Mentor engineers on agentic system design and integration patterns.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems and multi-agent orchestration.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or similar architectures.
- 2+ years of experience applying LLMs in production workflows.
- Strong API and systems design skills with experience in integrations and SDKs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and modern developer tooling.
- Proven track record of owning technical projects from design to production.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Broad software engineering background with 8+ years of experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, and distributed systems.
