Base Salary
$190k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, aerospace engineers, flight operations, and business teams to develop, deliver, and scale data pipelines.
- Integrate diverse data sources to provide consistent and accurate views of flight operations, aircraft fleets, infrastructure, and business performance.
- Develop and optimize batch and interactive services across data pipelines, backend systems, and data-serving systems.
- Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure performance, validation, and data integrity.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience programming backend systems and/or data pipelines.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Coding experience with one or more of C++, Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as BigQuery and SQL, data visualization tools, and data processing technologies including Hadoop, Flume, Spark, Apache Beam, and MapReduce.
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and drive features to completion.
