Responsibilities

  • Engage developers, software engineers, enterprise and solution architects, and CTOs in one-to-one and one-to-many application architecture and development workshops.
  • Accelerate AWS adoption among student, startup, and professional developer communities through conferences, events, meetups, user groups, and hackathons.
  • Help direct AWS developer events, represent AWS through speaking and live demonstrations, and interact with attendees.
  • Create reference applications, starter kits, architectural patterns, sample code, blog posts, tutorials, demonstrations, and other reusable technical enablement artifacts.
  • Upskill development teams on programming languages, distributed systems, design patterns, software development practices, AWS services, third-party technologies, and partner solutions.
  • Provide developer feedback to AWS Product Management and Engineering teams and participate in technical and design discussions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Preferred: knowledge of SAP Business Suite, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private.
  • Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities and managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
  • Preferred: experience with SAP clean core design concepts, including non-SAP technologies in generative or agentic AI and data and analytics domains.
