Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile product lifecycle from conceptualization and design through development and App Store launch.
- Build and maintain Cape’s iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Develop coding guidelines, participate in code reviews, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Champion application security, performance, and stability through testing, monitoring, and release processes.
- Improve user workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive experiences across product boundaries.
Requirements
- 4+ years of iOS software development experience.
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Swift and strong foundational knowledge of the iOS ecosystem, including architecture and the app lifecycle.
- Professional experience with SwiftUI is preferred, along with a strong interest in modern user interfaces.
- Experience with Swift Concurrency and async/await for responsive, performant applications.
- Familiarity with Combine or Core Data.
- Hands-on experience with the end-to-end App Store release process.
- Understanding of cryptographic systems and privacy-conscious solution design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative abilities, independent judgment, and practical problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: knowledge of cryptography, Secure Enclave, or cellular technologies such as eSIM, 4G, or 5G.
