Base Salary
$125k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship production-grade software across Compa’s web application and backend systems.
- Build new features and improve existing workflows in collaboration with Product and Design.
- Write clean, scalable code and contribute to system architecture decisions.
- Participate in code reviews, team rituals, and roadmap discussions.
- Solve enterprise compensation problems spanning data pipelines and user experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience shipping production software in a collaborative environment.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern web development language or framework.
- Ability to work across the stack or specialize in frontend or backend development.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and follow through on commitments.
- Thoughtful, pragmatic approach to trade-offs and outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with compensation, HR technology, or enterprise SaaS is preferred but not required.
- Experience with data-driven products or complex user workflows is preferred.
- Interest or experience in AI systems or ML infrastructure is a plus.
- Comfort working through ambiguity in fast-paced, iterative environments.
