Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering.
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
- Learn and apply new engineering methods, tools, processes, and best practices.
- Design, develop, test, and improve software solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have at least one semester or term remaining after completing the internship.
- Programming experience in an object-oriented language.
- Must be legally authorised to work in the UK.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, operating systems, Linux, virtualization, and IP networking is preferred.
- Familiarity with VSCode, Git, DevOps, and AI Agents/Copilot is preferred.
